INGREDIENTS:

4 egg whites
2 cups and 4 tbsp ( 225 g ) regular sugar
3,5 oz ( 100 g ) dark chocolate


Preheat oven to 100°C / 220°F. Put the egg whites and sugar in a bowl. Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Whisk by hand until all of the sugar has dissolved. Transfer the mixture to another bowl and beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 2 minutes. Increase the speed and beat until you have a meringue that forms stiff peaks. Melt your dark chocolate and drizzle most of it on the meringue. Carefully fold the chocolate into the meringue. Place on a lined baking tray and drizzle the leftover chocolate on top. Bake for 1 1/2 hour. Let cool and enjoy with vanilla ice cream!
